PERSONAL

After working for nearly fifteen gratifying years as a bartender for George’s Place in Norwood, MA, the business was sold as the owners opted for retirement and sending me into the population of job seekers.

The past few years were an attempt to retrain myself for a new experience and most likely my last and endeavor to absorb as much knowledge and acquire as many skills as possible during this period. It has been essentially directed to the skills related to Web Development and Design. At this moment believe I would be a competent and enthusiastic asset to any employer in the IT Industry. Please view the links listed at the end of this document for a more complete explanation and demonstration of myself and my abilities.

Although the past years have been an effort to achieve a competent and competitive level in the area of Web Design and Development, my  employment and experience history still contain many other facets, most of which apply to a variety of industries.

Employee and customer relations have been woven through my entire work history from department stores to bars and lounges and even maintenance. I deeply enjoyed and was committed to that aspect of the work environment in all listed jobs and always achieved a successful and comfortable relationship. Certainly that would be a fantastic plus if your industry required a high level of customer /employee relations.

Electronic testing, maintenance and repair are in my background and still used regularly in the servicing of my personal computers.

Electronic devices used in installation, maintenance or repair of systems related to domestic or industrial applications are not intimidating even when unfamiliar. I can read wiring diagrams, blueprints and schematics and use instruction manuals competently.

At any rate I am only looking to work and believe my abilities might, although diverse, should bring something special to your company.

Thank You,

Lawrence J. O'Brien
